The role:
 
This role is to develop and consolidate existing data pipelines on a new advanced analytics data platform. Alteryx is being used to build out data pipelines and to create reports for the end users. The successful candidate will work with the Delivery Managers and Technical Leads to consolidate current and create new data pipelines. The goal is to deliver value to the business by ensuring that technology solutions are well architected and executed to deliver real time analytics capability.
 
Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver end to end data solutions, supporting a team of architects and developers across design, implementation.
  • Build new and consolidate Alteryx data pipelines
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and produce Alteryx reports meeting commercial needs
  • Utilise advances in technology to implement new business process to improve business efficiency and reporting across the client’s business.
  • Deliver quality of the highest standards by working with leaders across the organisation.

The successful candidate:
 
The ETL developer will satisfy the following criteria:
 
  • Minimum twelve months hands on Alteryx development experience building data pipelines and reports
  • Good understanding of the Alteryx tool, its workflows and dependencies
  • Minimum five years experience working as an ETL developer within the data warehouse, ideally across on prem and cloud solutions
  • Strong SQL skills, proven ability extracting and analysing data sets
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks, methodologies and end to end data applications using/including and not limited to:
    • Data Warehousing, IBM, Teradata, Informatica
    • Data Streaming – ETL background
    • Cloud platform exposure AWS, Azure
  • Strong industry knowledge of trends and how to innovatively apply them to shape and build out solutions
  • Strong consulting and business analysis skills

 
What’s on offer?
 
An enticing daily rate from $850 - $1000 per day inclusive of super. Initial six month contract which should extend.

The role is Sydney CBD based but will be remotely onboarded and WFH until restrictions ease. Once we are back to “normal” working hours will be flexible 2/3 days a week in the office, the rest WFH.
