About the Role

Our Federal Government client is seeking an ETL (Extract Transform Load) Developer with extensive SAS DI expertise to design and develop ETL applications and jobs in the Data Warehouse environments, leveraging Agile Ways of Working to deliver iterative and high-quality solutions.

With a proactive and can-do attitude, you will design, create, and maintain SAS DI applications in diverse environments, ensuring alignment with business goals and high-quality standards. Developer should also provide mentoring and coaching to Junior Developers.

Deliverables
  • Provide the technical design, implementation, testing, and compliance for identified solutions.
  • Design and implement ETL scripts and data warehouse solutions.
  • Collaborate on warehouse and reporting design.
  • Collaborate with business teams in an Agile environment to understand and refine business processes, ensuring alignment with iterative development cycles.
  • In conjunction with the development team, ensure quality standards are adhered to during development and implementation.
  • Document the architectural design and production support processes in relevant artefacts.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the overall application architecture and ensure that this understanding is conveyed to and maintained current with all team members.
  • Interpret the technical specifications of Solutions.
Key Criteria
  • Extensive knowledge in Database technologies, preferable Oracle and related RDBMS.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT; or equivalent experience.
  • Programming experience in SAS DI.
  • Data warehousing experience.
  • Experience in software applications analysis, design, programming and implementation.
  • Experience in structured analysis and design.
  • Advantage to have PL/SQL knowledge.
