Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare internal company reports around compliance and regulation
- Assisting the Audit, Risk and Committee board in preparation of reports.
- Identifying, interpreting, and monitoring business’ compliance obligations as well as maintaining internal compliance registers
- Evaluating current systems in place, identifying areas for improvement, providing education around any emerging policies/changes
- Investigating any breaches and implementing any escalation processes accordingly
- Developing/delivering any internal training across teams and business units
- Ensuring consistency in compliance practices across all areas of business
- Maintain strong working relationships
- Contributing to the preparation of compliance policies and procedures and contributing to continuous improvement of the business
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in compliance with extended knowledge of compliance principles and implementation
- Experience implementing and maintaining compliance framework and systems
- Qualifications in Business or Law related studies is required and additional studies in compliance, risk management, legal studies and corporate governance is highly desirable.
- Experience with governance and similar regulatory bodies
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with
- Ability to foster relationships internally within the business and with relevant external government and legal bodies
- Contributor in driving continuous process improvements and efficiencies within the compliance framework
- Strong communication skills
