About The Role 

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join a forward-thinking People & Culture team where your expertise will drive proactive case management and foster a positive workplace culture across a diverse and growing national network.

As the subject matter expert for Employee Relations, you’ll work closely with operational leaders to resolve complex people matters, contribute to policy and strategy development, and play a pivotal role in shaping a compliant, values-led employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and operational advice on complex employee and industrial relations issues across the business.
  • Support performance management, case management, conflict resolution and formal dispute processes including those before regulatory bodies.
  • Coach and guide managers in best practice people leadership and legislative compliance.
  • Partner with business units to identify workplace trends, risks and development needs, using data-driven insights to inform proactive solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ER policies, initiatives, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development and WHS teams on education, engagement and return-to-work strategies.
  • Play a key role in supporting organisational change, culture initiatives and workforce projects.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Law or a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in an ER/IR role, with strong case management capability in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Australian employment legislation, Awards and National Employment Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and resilience.
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check or equivalent (if required).
