We’re seeking a  Director, System Integration to spearhead the delivery of a major rail upgrade. This role is pivotal to the program across a key metropolitan corridor, integrating cutting-edge digital systems, communications, and operational technologies.

About the Role
As the Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the end-to-end integration of complex rail systems. From strategic planning and systems engineering to commissioning and operational handover, you’ll ensure seamless delivery aligned with safety, performance, and stakeholder expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the full lifecycle of system integration for deployment.
• Establishing governance and reporting frameworks to manage risks and ensure transparency.
• Building and mentoring a high-performing team of engineers and delivery professionals.
• Managing commercial contracts and driving value-for-money outcomes.
• Overseeing systems assurance, configuration management, and safety engineering.
• Coordinating operational readiness and live deployment strategies.

About You You are a leader with:

• 15+ years of experience in the rail industry, ideally with signalling projects.
• Proven leadership in large-scale, multidisciplinary programs.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities.
• Postgraduate qualifications and professional accreditations.
