The Role:

The Role:
- Partner with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data and define business solutions.
- Mentor and develop a team of skilled Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Data Science and Software specialists
- Play a lead role in multiple projects to drive alignment to data architecture and business transformation
- Lead the design, build and delivery of data platforms and pipelines, modelling and reporting to enable enterprise reporting and delivery of analytics use cases
- Work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects from across the organization
- Recruitment, development and retention of team members
- Work closely with the senior leadership team (SLT) to create a delivery environment which results in exceptional staff and customer satisfaction
- Must have 5+ years in a leadership role
- You will possess strong business partnering skills combined with a high level of commercial acumen
- You will have worked closely alongside Data Architects, Engineers and Analysts.
- You will have worked with cross functional teams spanning Data, Software, Governance and Security
- Technical expertise in Databricks, SQL and Azure cloud services are required
- Exposure to Java, Python and DevOps practices is required
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry is advantageous
- Experience working in a complex enterprise structure is required
- Fully remote working (WFH) capability
- Highly competitive salary - $160k - 165k + super + 20% bonus
