Ready to jump into a major strategic modelling initiative that’s shaping the future of student planning and forecasting in the tertiary sector? Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join a high‑impact transformation project kicking off in the next couple of weeks and running through August 2025.
In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, analytics engineers and reporting specialists to enhance modelling capability, improve forecasting accuracy, and uplift dashboarding and reporting used across the organisation for scenario planning and strategic decision‑making.

What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Building dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI (or similar BI tools).
- Using SQL and data modelling techniques to support analytics and BI solutions.
- Conducting data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Supporting testing phases and ensuring data governance and compliance standards are met.
- Documenting processes, data sources and reporting requirements clearly.
- Strong experience in analytics, statistical concepts, SQL and data modelling.
- Proven ability to design and develop high‑quality Power BI dashboards.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and tools like JIRA is a bonus.
- Detail‑focused, adaptable and comfortable working in complex environments.
- Contract: Starting 16th Feb → August 2025
- Location: Brisbane (Kelvin Grove area)
- Hybrid: 2–3 days in office per week
- Candidates must be based in Brisbane; remote applicants can’t be considered.
