Join this Queensland Government department as an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst supporting the delivery of a major digital transformation initiative. Starting January 2026, this Brisbane-based contract runs through to September 2026, with strong potential for extension. This role offers hybrid work arrangements, however applicants must be located in Brisbane.

About the Opportunity
You will join a high-impact program modernising how the department manages resource authority processes across Queensland. Working within a collaborative, delivery-focused team, you’ll help shape and optimise the organisation’s Dynamics 365 platform, improving user experience and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to interpret needs and translate them into clear, structured build requirements.
• Configure Dynamics 365 and support the delivery of a scalable, future-ready solution.
• Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and Business Process Flows.
• Support data migration planning and execution from legacy systems.
• Lead and participate in testing activities, including end-to-end test execution.
• Develop training materials and deliver user training.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements post-implementation.
• Stay current with new Dynamics 365 features, recommending improvements where appropriate.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst on large ICT programs.
• Strong capability in business process analysis and solution design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating workflow diagrams and re-engineering business processes.
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Highly regarded:

• Degree qualifications in IT, Business or similar.
• Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Experience with Customer Service, Customer Insights – Journeys, and Project Operations.
• Proficiency in BPMN 2.0.
