Cyber & Resiliency Operations Specialist

Job description

The Technology Operations function is responsible for the overall management of the day to day operations of the technology environment in supporting and maintaining infrastructure, systems, data and applications while achieving set targets and associated outcomes for the business.

The Cyber and Resiliency Operations Specialist will be responsible for leading and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Unitywater technology and information assets. The role will work closely with third party vendors to implement, configure and optimise technology solutions and controls for security, resiliency and data integrations.

Capability Requirements

The requirements for the position are:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline and/or possess demonstrated experience applicable to the role.
  • Security certifications or similar.
  • Experience in cyber security incident management, reporting requirements and presentation of operational recommendations. ITIL
  • Strong technical skills and operational experience in the management of SEIM, configuration, and support of security controls including network security, endpoint security, application security, data protection, and/or identity and access management.
  • Strong technical skills and active experience in managing Microsoft Windows Servers, some Linux, MS SQL Server, VMware, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Antivirus, Backup systems, Microsoft Azure (desirable), and Integration Management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (O365), Exchange, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, CA
  • Experience with developing and implementing documentation and process relating to Information Security, Technology Resiliency and Disaster Recovery.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud based multi-sourced and outsourced services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and a range of ICT architectures.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of stakeholders at different levels within an organisation.
  • High level of management, analytical, negotiation, communication, listening and facilitation skills with the ability to be hands on in every aspect of the position.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to prepare and present reports, correspondence and submissions of a complex and substantial nature and to formulate recommendations.
  • C Class Drivers License
This is a hybrid position that will require the successful candidate to attend the office.  Candidates should ideally be located within commuting distance to Caboolture or Maroochydore.
