Customer Service Officer
Job description
Our client, a market leading, Australian owned Transport and Logistics company is looking for their next Customer Service Officer.
Duties include:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide information and updates regarding deliveries, products, and logistics processes.
- Assist customers with booking, tracking orders, and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team initiatives.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Previous experience in customer service and / or administration - preferably in the transport and logistics industry but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Have the ability to think on their feet and make decisions confidently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- $32/hr + super
- Full time or part-time available
- Located in Pinkenba (Parking onsite)
- Monday to Friday, either 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with the expectation of working one Saturday per month from 6:00 am – 12:00 pm (paid at overtime rates)
