The Opportunity:

We’re partnering with a leading name in the transport and logistics sector to recruit an experienced Credit Officer for a permanent position based in Brisbane’s western suburbs. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a high-performing finance team, driving timely collections and supporting the broader credit control function in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring prompt payment and reducing outstanding debt.
  • Perform credit assessments and monitor credit limits in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to resolve payment issues and account queries.
  • Accurately process and allocate incoming payments.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and assist with reconciliations and credit reporting tasks.
  • Provide general support on other credit control-related duties as required.
About You:
  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team in a busy environment.
