We’re excited to partner with a recognised leader in their field, with a strong global footprint and local presence, in their search for a Corporate Communications & PR Manager.

This newly created position will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering corporate communication strategies while driving impactful product PR campaigns.

About the Role
The Corporate Communications & PR Manager will lead the development of corporate communication strategies that protect and enhance the organisation’s reputation, ensure consistent messaging, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver corporate communication strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead crisis and issues management, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective responses.
  • Oversee communications on ESG, emissions, regulation, and government engagement.
  • Manage executive profiling activities, including media interviews, speeches, and thought leadership.
  • Drive product PR initiatives including launches, media, and sponsorship activations.
  • Manage the press vehicle fleet and coordinate journalist engagement programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade, business, and consumer media.
  • Support internal communications including newsletters, staff engagement, and executive messaging.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and external agencies to align PR with corporate strategy.  
About You
The successful candidate will bring strong corporate communications experience, with proven capability in both corporate and consumer-facing PR. You will be confident engaging with all levels of an organisation and skilled at managing complex, high-profile communications.
  • 6–10 years’ experience in Corporate Communications / PR.
  • Background in automotive or demonstrated passion and understanding of the industry.
  • Strong issues management and crisis communication expertise.
  • Proven media relations experience across trade, business, and consumer outlets.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical and regulatory topics into clear, engaging messages.
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
