Contract Manager

Job description

Troocoo is partnering with our client to appoint a Contract Manager to lead their contracts team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role will oversee a broad range of contracts and manage the full lifecycle of high-value and high-risk agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team managing a portfolio of complex, high-value service agreements, ensuring strong commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of key agreements.
  • Draft and coordinate new supplier agreements, amendments and breach notices.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms, licences and insurance requirements.
  • Monitor key contractual milestones and escalate any performance or compliance concerns.
  • Coordinate contract audits and support regular reporting requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements.
  • Monitor and report on cost, timelines and progress to stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing improvements to contract management systems and processes.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers on all contract-related matters
About You:
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Procurement Specialist or similar role.
  • Background in contract tendering, awarding, management, stakeholder engagement and dispute resolution.
  • Strong skills in interpreting, reviewing and drafting contractual agreements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
