Our client is a leading Australian financial services with their corporate head office based in Brisbane.  They are seeking a Communications Specialist to support internal communication efforts for a large-scale transformation project.

The Communications Specialist will play a key role in developing and executing communication strategies that align with the transformation project's objectives and engage employees at all levels
About the Role
  • Develop and execute an internal communication strategy that supports the transformation project's objectives, ensuring employees are informed and engaged throughout the project.
  • Work closely with the Transformation Project team and other stakeholders to develop and deliver compelling and timely communication materials, including emails, intranet content, presentations, and other collateral.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key messages and ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
  • Develop and manage project-specific communication channels, such as newsletters, town hall meetings, and other internal events.
  • Leverage digital communication tools and technologies to maximize the reach and impact of communication efforts.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership and project teams on communication best practices and effective engagement strategies.
Successful Candidate
You will be passionate for developing and executing internal communication strategies that drive engagement and support transformation projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Relevant degree in Communications, Marketing, or PR and proven experience in corporate communications or internal communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing internal communication strategies.
  • Experience in leveraging digital communication tools and technologies to maximize reach and impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work effectively.
