Troocoo is excited to be working with a fast-growing Queensland membership-based organisation to find a talented Communications Officer.

The Opportunity:
As a key member of the marketing and communications team, you will use your exceptional writing, storytelling, and media skills to create engaging news and communications for the organisation's diverse business audience. Working collaboratively, your primary focus will be on building brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple communications platforms.
This role is perfect for an early-career professional eager to apply their contemporary, audience-focused communications and media skills in a dynamic, fast-paced, and passionate team. About You:
Ideally, you’ll have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Strong writing, interviewing, and storytelling skills, especially for news and social media.
  • Proven experience in creating and editing content for various digital and social media communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of communications platforms and their role in wider media and communications campaigns.
  • Experience working with or in the Queensland and national media landscape.
To thrive in this role: You will be an engaging and creative storyteller and communicator with experience in content creation and strategy implementation. A strong attention to detail and the ability to fact-check will also be critical. A creative mindset, passion for success, and willingness to be ‘hands-on’ will ensure your alignment with this dynamic role.
