Communications Manager

Job description

We are seeking experienced communications professionals to join a leading financial services organisation delivering major digital and customer experience initiatives. These roles will suit skilled writers who can make complex information simple, engaging and easy to act on.

As part of a collaborative communications team, you will work across a range of projects that are improving how customers engage with the organisation’s products and services. This includes supporting the development of a new public-facing website and enhancing the clarity and consistency of customer communications across digital and print channels.

Your work will involve reviewing, rewriting and publishing website content to a new digital platform, ensuring it is accurate, compliant and accessible. You will also play a key role in creating and improving customer correspondence such as letters, emails and notifications, helping to establish a clear and empathetic tone of voice that builds trust and supports customers to take the right actions.


About You
You are a confident communicator who can translate technical or regulatory information into clear and meaningful language. You have a strong grasp of plain English principles, an eye for detail, and a customer-first mindset. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and working collaboratively across teams.

Experience in web writing, digital publishing, or accessibility will be highly regarded, as will background in customer or transactional communications for regulated industries such as financial services, insurance or health.

Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven ability to write engaging, accurate and customer-focused content across multiple channels.
  • Experience developing and editing content for websites, digital platforms and customer correspondence.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Understanding of accessibility and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes and manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Minimum three years of professional communications or content experience.
