Troocoo are excited to be recruiting 2 x Communication Advisors (AO5) for a leading QLD Government Department.

Join the Stakeholder Management team and play a key role in delivering high-level communication and engagement support across major transport infrastructure projects.

• $67.13 p/hour + super to $72.96 p/hour + super
• Buderim location - contract commencing ASAP to 30/06/26 - long term!

In this role, you’ll develop and implement strategic communication and engagement activities, working closely with project teams, leadership, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert advice on communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, and media management.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with government partners, contractors, and community groups.
• Plan and manage communication activities and events that support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant governance frameworks and legislation.

About You:

• Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on collaborative, customer-centric outcomes.
• Adaptable and responsive in dynamic project environments.
• Experience in strategic communications or community engagement within infrastructure or transport.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, media, executive communication, and public relations.
• IAP2 certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded.
