The position
  
Troocoo has partnered with a Tier 1 mining leader in Perth’s CBD to fill a 12-month contract role with strong extension potential.

This is a rare chance to shape and implement commercial strategies in a collaborative, high-performing team, while directly supporting major capital projects and driving value across the business.
  
Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee commercial negotiations, renewals, and risk management for major goods and services.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure governance and compliance across all commercial processes.
  • Provide commercial support to key capital and operational projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercial value and cost control.
Skills and experience 
  • Experience in commercial, procurement, or contract management roles within mining, resources, or heavy industry.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing high-value, complex contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in leading supplier performance and driving value through strategic partnerships.
  • Sound understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical capabilities
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or law, desirable but not essential.
