About the role

Troocoo have partnered with a values driven, for purpose organisation within the health sector to assist them in finding a skilled Cloud Security Engineer. The Cloud Security Engineer will design, build, and administer new Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure cloud platform security technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for:
    • Develop security standards and blueprints for cloud architecture and configurations to meet security controls, compliance requirements, and best practices.
    • Evaluate existing cloud architecture and cloud deployments for adherence to policies, standards, and security best practices and work with IT architecture, engineering, and development staff to resolve gaps.
    • Evaluate, design, build, integrate, and maintain a variety of cloud-interfacing security technologies, working with analysts and IT teams to provide necessary functions.
    • Identify and define security requirements for new initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
    • Experience working in a high‐energy environment with IT architecture, engineering, and development teams with the goal of decreasing security risk and protecting client data.
    • Practical knowledge of Azure services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies.
    • Experience in provisioning secure cloud environments.
