All critical technical services across networks, cloud, hosting, compute, storage and database are being brought inhouse, enabling our client to transform their services and provide excellent customer experiences.

The Cloud Platform Engineer focuses on the full stack of on-premises and public cloud hosted environments, including server, storage, and hosting. Daily tasks will range from supporting product rollouts, maintaining multiple operational environments, troubleshooting incidents, and contributing to creation and improvements of processes, platforms and supporting its components.

To be considered for these roles you will be required to demonstrate the following key experience;

• Strong product management experience across Azure, VMWare and Veeam, Citrix, Windows, and Linux Servers.
• Familiar with HPE Alletra/Apollo/StoreOnce storage and ProLiant Servers.
• Platform operations monitoring using SolarWinds, including managing configuration and responding to system monitoring events.
• Strong platform automation scripting (PowerShell).
• Rapidly adapt to changing technical, process and organisational environments.
• Resolve complex platform incidents while working independently and in a team.
• High level analysis and problem solving including identifying business requirements and making technical, business and process recommendations.
• Delivering excellent customer service experiences.
• Continuously improve processes & technologies and drive a culture of innovation across the business.
• Prioritising workload across multiple ongoing projects and BAU tasks.
•  Influencing senior level customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that professional standards are maintained.
• Highly developed verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
