- Assist the Residential Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
- Ensure care is delivered in line with residents’ goals, preferences and assessed needs.
- Oversee care planning, assessments, case conferences, and AN-ACC documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aged care legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of staff.
- Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience in aged care.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and aged care standards.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed skills in time management, prioritisation, and decision-making.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in clinical documentation systems
- Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a current AFP check with an active NDIS application).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Up-to-date influenza vaccination and willingness to comply with applicable health directives.
- Willingness to travel within Queensland, including occasional overnight stays as required.
