About the Opportunity
Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Entrada Group CEO, the Chief Operating Officer will lead the Greyhound team and drive the future success of this iconic business. As a key member of Entrada’s executive leadership team, you will also make critical contributions to the success of the Entrada group, though strong collaboration and formulation of business strategies.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Greyhound’s senior leadership team, enabling a high-performance culture aligned with the company values.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to improving Health & Safety capability and performance through modelling of leadership behaviour, driving business specific initiatives, and through active support of all group program.
- Leverage deep commercial experience and knowledge to drive business success and operational excellence at Greyhound, with a constant commitment to improve, innovate and challenge the status quo.
- Build and maintain positive, value enhancing relationships both within Greyhound and across the Entrada group to grow business performance.
- Relentlessly pursue excellence in customer experience, nurturing and building on the strong customer focus and deep insights developed within the Greyhound business.
- Actively engage and forge effective partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
You will bring a broad skillset with deep commercial experience and a passion for safety and operational excellence. Proven leadership experience in logistics, transport, or a related field would be an advantage.
You will be an inspiring, values-led leader, who can build trust, confidence and loyalty from your team, while empowering and harnessing the talent within the organisation.
You will possess a maturity and confidence to be equally at home engaging with frontline staff or the Board of Directors.
You will effortlessly establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with your Entrada peers to unlock resource for Greyhound Australia and to strengthen and leverage the group’s collective capability.
