About the role:

The Chief Financial and Business Services Officer is a key member of the Executive, leading core business functions that underpin the performance and long-term sustainability of The Society Queensland. This includes oversight of Finance, Procurement, and Information Communication and Technology, as well as organisational planning, performance, and project management. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, forward-thinking leader who thrives in complex environments.
  
The Person:
  
The ideal candidate will be a CPA-qualified senior leader with 10+ years’ experience in financial management, business services, or executive leadership within complex organisations. They will bring strong commercial acumen, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a track record of driving financial sustainability and growth.
  
With high EQ and exceptional stakeholder skills, they will influence with impact, build trusted relationships, and lead transformation across finance, digital, and business services. Experience in the not-for-profit or community sector will be highly regarded.
