About the Role
This is a pivotal role where performance meets creativity. As the Channel Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead in growing customer acquisition and revenue across paid, affiliate, organic, and traditional media channels. You’ll bring a commercial mindset and a test-and-learn approach to building and refining channel strategies across both Australia and New Zealand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead strategy and execution across paid digital (social, SEM, programmatic), SEO/AEO, affiliate, display, and traditional media.
- Contribute budgets and forecasting for performance channels to maximise efficiency and ROI.
- Use audience insights and segmentation to drive campaign optimisation and improve acquisition outcomes.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment to business goals.
- Evolve and scale the affiliate program through recruitment, platform optimisation, and performance monitoring.
- Drive SEO and AI Engine Optimisation strategies to boost organic traffic and conversion.
- Lead and mentor a team of two, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Oversee traditional media campaigns (print, OOH) with a data-led lens to support omni-channel performance.
- Translate insights into action through consistent reporting, A/B testing, and data storytelling.

What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years in digital/performance marketing, ideally within eCommerce or retail.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and affiliate platforms.
- A solid foundation in SEO strategy, technical audits, content optimisation and AEO.
- Proven experience in budget management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- A deep love of data – you enjoy asking the ‘why’ behind the numbers and turning insights into action.
- You’ve led and mentored a small team and take pride in helping others succeed.
- Strong stakeholder and agency management skills – you know how to influence and align.
- Proficient with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, SEMrush, or similar.
