Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef/Catering Manager to lead kitchen operations at their facility located in beautiful Tenterfield, NSW. This is a permanent full-time position offering the chance to combine your culinary expertise with leadership responsibilities in a supportive environment.
  
About the Role:
As Chef/Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of kitchen services, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals are delivered daily while maintaining compliance with food safety standards. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is both a strong leader and passionate about food service excellence.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen and meal service operations
  • Prepare and present fresh, well-balanced meals tailored to client needs
  • Manage kitchen staff, rosters, ordering, and inventory control
  • Develop and maintain menus in line with dietary guidelines and preferences
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to maintain a high standard of service
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a healthcare, aged care, or clinical setting
  • Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above)
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of dietary needs, allergies, and food safety protocols
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
