Troocoo is proud to partner with a highly regarded and trusted household name within the financial services sector to recruit for a newly created position as a Goods & Services Category Manager. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Brisbane’s CBD, offering hybrid flexibility (up to two days WFH).

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing a high-performing team of Procurement Managers, Procurement Specialists and Contract Administrators to deliver best-practice procurement outcomes.
• Driving strategic sourcing initiatives across the Goods & Services portfolio, ensuring value creation and alignment with business objectives.
• Influencing and partnering with stakeholders to uplift procurement capability, compliance, and commercial performance.
• Managing end-to-end procurement activities, from category planning and go-to-market execution through to contract negotiation, award, and ongoing supplier performance management.
• Building and managing strategic supplier relationships that foster innovation, performance, and long-term value.
• Identifying and delivering cost optimisation opportunities while ensuring strong governance, risk management, and sustainability.

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in goods and services category management, procurement, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience leading a procurement team or mentoring procurement professionals (highly regarded).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills. 
• Experience within a regulated industry environment (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
