In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the end-to-end business analysis function, ensuring high-quality requirements are captured, documented, and translated into effective business and technology solutions.
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst will be as follows:
- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability to deliverables
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather and prioritise requirements, including defining Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope
- Develop and maintain as-is and to-be process maps to support business process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, delivery teams, testers, and fellow Business Analysts to ensure shared understanding of requirements
- Support the design and delivery of business solutions aligned to organisational objectives and customer outcomes
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process optimisation and innovation
- Contribute to persona development and customer journey mapping where required
- Partner with stakeholders to document business processes, policies, and procedures to support change initiatives
- Support continuous improvement of business analysis practices and contribute to community of practice activities
To be considered for this role we are seeking the following key professional requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Data Management or a related field, and/or formal Business Analysis certification (e.g. BABOK, BPMN 2.0)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in an agile delivery environment
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and elicit detailed business requirements
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, concise, and actionable
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using collaboration and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, and Microsoft 365 suite
