About the role
Our client in the education sector is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Stage 1 of a multi-year people systems consolidation program. This phase will focus on discovery, analysis and assessment to determine whether SAP is the right HRIS platform for the organisation’s future state.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to document current state processes, define future state requirements, and help shape the business case and roadmap for the program.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead business analysis activities across Stage 1 of the people systems program
  • Gather, document and validate HRIS requirements across payroll, workforce and people operations
  • Analyse current-state processes, data flows and system limitations
  • Support the assessment of SAP as the future HRIS platform
  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements, process maps and gap analyses
  • Contribute to feasibility assessments, options analysis and recommendations
  • Support governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Work with vendors and technical teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood
About you
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of people systems, HR, payroll and workforce processes
  • Experience running discovery phases and shaping future-state solutions
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in complex organisations
  • Strong documentation, analysis and communication skills
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to early-stage programs
