About the Role

Joining our large, complex QLD State Government client, you will play a leading role in the development and implementation of the technical solutions for the system modernisation. You will focus on converting the business requirements described in the customer contract into the over-arching architecture and design of the consolidated solution ensuring that the detailed design of the solution matches the higher-level architecture.
  
You will be responsible for providing the guidance to ensure that the correct architecture decisions are made for the Department's delivery including integration with external and internal systems.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the solution architecture aligns with the roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture and adheres to the enterprise architecture principles
  • Estimate solution delivery using awareness of contemporary infrastructure design, application development techniques, methodologies, and analytical techniques.
  • Consult and collaborate with Department architects to develop ICT designs at a ‘logical’ level, considering the enterprise architecture requirements, guiding principles, business drivers and industry best practice.
  • Conduct analysis and design of transition options
  • Analyse customer requirements to derive solution design requirements and provide design oversight of these solutions from detailed design through to implementation.
  • Provide design governance of the solution development and delivery process, to ensure design requirements are met and solution patterns are developed to optimise ICT investment.
Key Requirements

To be successful, you will have previous experience with enterprise architecture best practices and methods and be available on a Part-Time (60%) basis. A TOGAF Certification is also highly desirable.
