About the Role:
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, your primary focus will be on managing debt collection and maintaining strong customer relationships. You’ll thrive in a high-volume, low-value environment and enjoy working in a structured, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end debt collection for a portfolio of approximately 200 customers
- Perform daily banking and receipting duties
- Generate customer invoices and process credit notes accurately and efficiently
- Follow up on outstanding accounts in line with internal policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and support month-end reporting requirements
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Collections Officer positions
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in the not-for-profit or community sector (desirable but not essential)
- 12-month fixed term contracts with potential for extension
