I am partnering with a Queensland Government agency to engage a Solution Delivery Lead focused on end-to-end delivery, not coaching teams from the sidelines.

This role sits firmly in execution. You’ll own delivery across multiple initiatives, manage scope and dependencies, maintain governance artefacts, and work day to day with technical teams to ensure outcomes are delivered on time.

This is not a Scrum Master-only role and not a people leadership or project management position. The successful contractor will be comfortable taking accountability for delivery, not just facilitating ceremonies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own delivery across initiatives, including scope, timeframes, risks, and dependencies
• Manage and maintain JIRA boards, sprint plans, delivery artefacts, and reporting
• Facilitate agile ceremonies with a strong focus on delivery outcomes
• Work closely with technical teams to unblock delivery and keep momentum
• Maintain delivery governance, documentation, and reporting aligned to agency standards

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience owning delivery, not just facilitating agile ceremonies
• Background in Solution Delivery Lead, Delivery Lead, or Iteration Manager roles
• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, delivery reporting, and governance artefacts
• Experience working in Queensland Government or regulated environments
• Comfortable being accountable for outcomes in a complex delivery environment

This role is offered as an initial six (6) month contract.  Located in the Brisbane CBD close to public transport, the role is a hybrid 3 days in office/2 days from home.
