Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued client in the recruitment of an AO6 Executive Officer! This is an exciting opportunities to to support the Executive Director, SEQ Operations. This is an initial 3-month contract with strong potential to extend further, based in Cannon Hill.

About You
To excel in this role, you will bring the following capabilities:

Role Responsibilities
- Delivering a full suite of executive support services, including calendar and diary management, scheduling and organizing all meetings, and ensuring the Executive Director is fully briefed with necessary papers and documentation.
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and composing emails or correspondence on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Managing a shared mailbox, coordinating incoming requests, and ensuring they are actioned promptly and efficiently.
- Drafting, coordinating, and monitoring timely and high-quality responses to correspondence and enquiries.
- Oversight and coordination of critical reporting functions, including the compilation and monitoring of briefing notes, business cases and submissions, strategic planning documents, and HR reporting.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring the following capabilities:
- Prior tenured (3-5 years min.) experience within an Executive Support position is mandatory.
- Previous experience supporting an Executive Director within a public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, complemented by a functional understanding of SharePoint—highly desirable for this position.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules, prioritise tasks, and move seamlessly between duties.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for precision and professionalism.
- Attractive hourly rate of $78.02p/hr + super
