About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AO4 Case Assessment Officer to join a high-performing team in Robina. This position plays a vital role in assessing and determining matters related to disputes, claims, licensing, and compliance in line with legislation, policy, and procedure.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong analytical ability, sound judgement, and the confidence to make fair and evidence-based decisions that can withstand scrutiny.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and determine matters relating to disputes, licensing applications, compliance, and claims in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Deliver outcomes that are fair, balanced, and considerate of all parties involved.
  • Produce clear, evidence-based decisions and documentation that meet professional standards and withstand review.
  • Manage caseloads effectively to achieve performance targets.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation in hearings, promotional, and educational activities as required.
  • Support the regional service centre by providing face-to-face customer service and team assistance.
  
About You
We’re looking for candidates who demonstrate:
  • Experience managing caseloads within a regulatory, compliance, or decision-making environment.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and provide clear, evidence-based advice.
  • Previous government experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex matters.
  • A commitment to fairness, professionalism, and high-quality customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain decisions and processes.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
  
Additional Information
  • This is a full-time office-based role located in Robina.
  • The role offers an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
  • Appointment is subject to a clear criminal history check.
