Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued client find their next Finance Officer (A04). This is an initial 12-month temporary contract starting ASAP with potential to extend. You will be part of a small finance team of 5 that provide corporate support to the organisation.

Role Duties
The Finance Officer (AO4) will be responsible for:
- Perform day-to-day financial accounting duties, including processing transactions, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Assist with aspects of management accounting, such as preparing financial reports and contributing to budget preparation and monitoring.
- Support the broader finance team with financial data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Utilise TechOne (TechnologyOne) financial management system to complete daily tasks and generate reports.
- Collaborate effectively with the finance team of five, including two other Finance Officers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Work flexibly with a hybrid arrangement of two office days and three remote workdays per week
To be successful within this position you would bring the following:
- Experience in day-to-day financial accounting and management accounting
- Must have experience with TechOne (TechnologyOne)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a small finance team.
- Good time management and organisational skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
- Understanding of financial policies and procedures in a public sector or similar environment (desirable).
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with two days in the office and three days from home.
- Based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs (parking onsite)
