Role Duties
The Executive Legal Secretary (AO4) will:
- Provide high‑level administrative support to the Assistant Crown Solicitor (ACS) and legal team with professionalism and timeliness.
- Format complex legal documents using Word, PowerPoint, and PDF tools.
- Prepare routine correspondence, briefs, and legal documentation accurately.
- Coordinate diary management, meetings, agendas, minutes, billing, and reports.
- Maintain information systems including Excel and VisualFiles.
- Implement new procedures and support process improvements.
- Review and submit reports on time.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for legal staff.
- Manage filing systems, bring‑ups, and document retrieval.
- Support billing, time‑recording, and financial compliance requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to uphold client service standards.
- Perform other duties as required by the ACS and legal team.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have proven experience supporting senior legal professionals, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF tools, and case management systems like VisualFiles.
- Bring exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to implement new processes and maintain accuracy in billing.
