The Role
As an AO4 Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level confidential executive and administrative support to senior leader(s).
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing confidential executive and administrative support, managing high volumes of information and workflow
- Coordinating complex calendars, including Ministerial and stakeholder meetings
- Managing shared inboxes, prioritising correspondence and preparing responses
- Preparing meeting packs, briefing materials, and supporting documentation
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, and governance-related documentation
- Maintaining records, processing travel and administrative tasks, and supporting office operations
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate outcomes
- Assisting with correspondence, briefs, and quality assurance processes
To be successful in these opportunities, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally within the Queensland Public Sector
- Experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with systems such as OneNote, MinCor, or similar (highly regarded)
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
