Your new position
As an Executive Assistant, your duties will include:
- Provide confidential executive support: diary management, correspondence, appointment/travel arrangements and overall office management to the branch and senior leadership team (SLT).
- Manage and support the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) with managing the office’s shared mailbox; determining priority, initiating action, preparing correspondence and other tasks as allocated by the SLT and SEO (noting probity, discretion and professional conduct).
- Manage and coordinate the task tracking system to ensure deadlines are met, identify emerging issues and trends, and escalate concerns to the SEO.
- Review responses for accuracy, grammar and syntax, and ensuring responses meet the request.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders, representing the division & executive using a helpful, professional and respectful manner.
Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience and a strong and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:
- Previous experience as a well established EA/PA is required
- Previous public sector experience will be highly regarded
- Advanced organisational skills including ability to manage competing priorities and work
- Experience using databases and record keeping systems
- Highly developed communication skills
- Ability to deal with change, show initiative and respond quickly to urgent requests
What You’ll Receive
- $54 - $59 per hour + plus super
- 3 months with potential for extension
- Brisbane CBD location
