Full-time temporary contracts | Initially to 30/07/2026 | $51.12 per hour + super

The AO3/1 Maintenance Support Officers will manage high volume inbound communications related to responsive maintenance for Government-owned housing.

The Roles
The AO3/1 Maintenance Support Officers will manage high volume inbound communications related to responsive maintenance for Government-owned housing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing efficient and high standards of customer service to customers and stakeholders.
- Working within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.
- Connecting and maintaining relationships with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrating high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimisation of aggression and dispute resolution as appropriate.
- Contributing to and actively participating in internal innovation activities, be a positive contributor to a great team and culture and actively participate in and contribute to internal innovative activities.
- Ensuring high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems.
- Effectively undertaking general administration functions as required.
To be considered a competitive applicant for these positions you would demonstrate the following:
- Prior experience in customer support environment/call centre (mandatory).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)
- Prior similar experience within a blue collar or Government environment would be advantageous.
