The Roles
We are recruiting for two separate AO3 positions, each contributing to customer service, administration, and stakeholder engagement, with responsibilities outlined below.
Role 1 – AO3/1 Maintenance Support Officer
In this position, you will:
- Provide efficient, high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work within a fast-paced environment supported by KPIs and performance frameworks.
- Manage high-volume correspondence via phone calls and emails.
- Use strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, de-escalation and dispute resolution when required.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and actively participate in internal improvement and innovation activities.
- Maintain high accuracy when preparing documents, reports and updating records and information systems.
- Perform general administration duties as required.
In this position, you will:
- Deliver high-quality customer service to QBuild customers across a range of operational activities.
- Coordinate travel bookings including flights, accommodation, car hire, ferries and charters within required timeframes.
- Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, telephone enquiries and inbox management.
- Work effectively within a KPI-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Connect with industry partners, suppliers and internal teams to support timely and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure accuracy when compiling documents, reports and updating systems such as Ellipse and Microsoft Office tools.
- Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers, and contribute to process improvement.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Strong administrative & customer service experience.
- Prior experience within the blue-collar industry or public sector would be advantageous.
- Initiative and a strong willingness to learn.
- Immediately available and based in Mackay, QLD.
