Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued client in the recruitment of an AO3 Project Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high level of project support within a dynamic infrastructure environment. This is an initial 6-month temporary labour hire contract, based in Brisbane's CBD.
The Role
In the role of AO3 Project Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support to a critical transport infrastructure project. This role will require exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

The Role
In the role of AO3 Project Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support to a critical transport infrastructure project. This role will require exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support including database administration, correspondence tracking, file management, document control, and office logistics.
- Liaising with management, stakeholders, executives, and the public on behalf of senior leaders.
- Analysing and actioning enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders for the Project Director and Manager.
- Managing diary requirements, project governance schedules, and coordinate meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Preparing meeting notes and minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Supporting HR, finance, procurement, and other business processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Delivering system administration, records management support, and capability development for staff.
To be successful within the AO3 Project Support Officer position, you would ideally bring the following:
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience working within similar position, ideally at the AO3 level.
- Demonstrated infrastructure project experience within an engineering environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of scheduling and calendar management for senior executives, including meeting coordination and minute-taking.
- Prior exposure working within in a large Public Sector environment is highly regarded.
