AO3 Legal Support Officer

Troocoo have been engaged to recruit for an AO3 Legal Support Officer - commencing ASAP until March 31st 2026. We are seeking skilled and dedicated candidates to provide high-quality administrative support to an established State Government Department

This role will be based within a high-volume and confidential environment and is critical in ensuring the smooth processing and administration of a key compliance system. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and client service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality administrative support to meet departmental requirements.
  • Provide outstanding client service by resolving issues efficiently, courteously, and confidentially.
  • Accurately complete word processing, spreadsheets, task registers, and database work, including generating correspondence and collating supporting documents.
  • Undertake general office duties such as filing, photocopying, managing physical file movement, and processing deliveries within established timeframes.
  • Manage individual workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and monitoring emails to ensure timely action.
  • Participate in relevant training to stay up-to-date with application processes and provide assistance with training new team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback on training materials.
  • Perform other administrative tasks across business units as required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous recent experience within the legal industry or similar is required.
  • Applicants presently studying a Bachelor of Laws or an equivalent legal qualification are highly encouraged apply.
  • Experience in legal or compliance-based administrative roles is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • MUST be available to work 38 hours per week (flexibility can be provided for assessments and exams for current law students).
  • MUST be able to pass a Criminal History Check.
