About the Roles
As an AO2 Administration Officer, you’ll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-volume registry-style team. You’ll be responsible for processing applications, handling enquiries, and providing accurate, efficient administrative support to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Register and process incoming applications and documentation using internal systems.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Prepare, edit and format documents and correspondence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assist with front-counter and telephone enquiries, delivering friendly and professional service.
- Support meeting scheduling, document collation, and case preparation as required.
- Prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Provide general administrative assistance to team leaders and managers as needed.
We’re looking for reliable, organised team players with:
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Previous experience within a government, legal, or high-volume setting will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Location: Brisbane CBD (no work from home available)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Pay rate: $39.67 per hour + super
- Duration: 1-month initial labour hire contracts starting early November, with a high likelihood of extension.
