ANZ Business Insights Manager

Job description

As the ANZ Business Insights Manager, you will be responsible for the organization's customer insights, consumer research and pricing functions which significantly contribute to providing insights and recommendations into the business to help drive key business decisions. You will oversee a team of specialists that gathering consumer insights from a variety of sources, including transactional and operational data, as well as consumer research and testing.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic initiatives across customer insights, brand health, quantitative and qualitative research, new product development, customer segmentation, product and pricing research;
  • Source data from a variety of sources including transactional and operational data, consumer research and testing, and other relevant sources to provide actionable insights;
  • Develop critical monthly business reporting, providing regular and ad-hoc reports that explain business performance, diagnose issues and share opportunity areas;
  • Develop ‘customers listening’ and tools for business health and KPI tracking including brand health tracking, customer satisfaction monitor, business health dashboards and a competitive database;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are integrated into marketing and product development strategies;
  • Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations to senior management including C-suite;
  • Develop and manage relationships with external research agencies and vendor partners.
Successful Candidate: 
  • At least 10 years of experience in consumer and marketing insights, preferably within a consumer sectors such as Travel, Hotels, Retail or FMCG;
  • A degree in market research, psychology, business, or a related field;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data analysis software including Power BI, Tableau, and Excel (Data Cubes);
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner;
  • The ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
