Location
- Facility located near Beechworth, VIC
- A picturesque regional town renowned for its heritage charm, natural surrounds, and strong community spirit
- Prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines
- Maintain food safety standards and safe work practices (HACCP)
- Contribute to seasonal menu planning in collaboration with dietitians
- Prepare texture-modified meals (IDDSI) and cater for special dietary requirements
- Engage positively with residents, respecting individual preferences and cultural needs
- Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and audit processes
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and food service regulations
- Proven experience in a similar cook role, within healthcare or aged care
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery – Required
- NDIS Worker Screening Check – Required
- Unlimited working rights in Australia – Required
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies, and food safety protocols
- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
