Our client is seeking a dedicated full-time Cook to join their aged care team near Beechworth, Victoria. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines
  • Maintain food safety standards and safe work practices (HACCP)
  • Contribute to seasonal menu planning in collaboration with dietitians
  • Prepare texture-modified meals (IDDSI) and cater for special dietary requirements
  • Engage positively with residents, respecting individual preferences and cultural needs
  • Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and food service regulations
About You
  • Proven experience in a similar cook role, within healthcare or aged care
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery – Required
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check – Required
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia – Required
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, allergies, and food safety protocols
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
