Troocoo have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Clinical Manager to join a well-established residential aged care service in the Western Downs region of Queensland.

This is a key leadership role suited to a clinically strong Registered Nurse who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and continuous improvement.

You’ll work closely with a supportive Residential Manager and lead a dedicated clinical team, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice and aged care standards.

About the Role

As Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the overall clinical leadership of the home. You’ll support and guide the care team, ensure compliance with aged care standards, and promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical oversight of the facility, including documentation and reporting
  • Leadership and support of nursing and care staff
  • Ensuring accurate assessments, care planning, and regular reviews
  • Medication management and clinical governance
  • Staff education, mentoring, and performance support
  • Supporting accreditation processes and ongoing compliance
  • Promoting person-centred, holistic care for all residents
About you

You’ll be a confident and approachable clinical leader with a strong aged care background and a genuine commitment to staff development and resident outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous clinical management or leadership experience in residential aged care
  • Strong understanding of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
  • Sound knowledge of care minutes and clinical governance
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support clinical teams
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
