Troocoo is excited to be partnering with a leading online retailer based in Brisbane’s inner suburbs to recruit a Data and Merchandise Assistant for their high performing merchandise team.

The role
Supporting the merchandise team, you will play a key role in managing, extracting and analysing product and trading data to support buying and planning decisions.

You will be involved in:
 

• Maintaining and managing product data across internal systems and spreadsheets
• Extracting data from systems to support reporting on stock, pricing and product performance
• Preparing and maintaining Excel based reports for buyers and the wider merchandise team
• Supporting analysis of sales trends, stock movement and product lifecycle performance
• Assisting with product uploads, sample tracking and data validation
• Working closely with buyers to ensure data accuracy and timely insights

This role suits someone who enjoys working with numbers and data but wants to stay close to the commercial and creative side of retail.
 
About you, you'll bring; 

• Strong Excel skills with confidence in data extraction, reporting and working with large spreadsheets
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy environment
• A curious mindset with an interest in understanding trends and what the data is telling you
• Experience in retail, ecommerce or merchandising is ideal but not essential
