Troocoo are excited to be partnering with a well-known construction and engineering organisation located in South Brisbane to recruit their next Accounts Payable Team Leader on a full-time permanent basis. Managing a team of 7 Accounts Officers to ensure smooth operations, by supervising the day – to- day operations across accounts payable and administration duties. Primary Purpose:
As the Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be reporting to the Shared Services Manager, managing the accounts offices both locally and offshore, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and accounts support to all facets of the business. Your role will involve building strong relationships both internally and externally.
Ideally you will come from a strong accounts background across, Accounts Payable, processing of high volumes and previous leadership experience.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Assist with the roll out of new expense management system
  • Manage the day to day operations of the current team of 7
  • New supplier onboarding process
  • Maintenance of supplier accounts
  • Coaching, leading and development of staff
  • Participate in the implementation of an expense management.
  • Contribute to the ongoing management and maintenance of the expense management tool.
  • Management of the accounts mailbox.
  • Provide support for payroll and administration reporting.
  • Assist in payroll administration and processing.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties to support the wider team.
  
Skills and Capabilities:
  
  • 3 years + leadership experience
  • Prior experience in accounts payable is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word (Intermediate level).
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and maintain high productivity.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with Pronto ERP is desirable.
