About the role
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be a process-driven and numbers-oriented individual, who enjoys working as part of a team to drive outcomes. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently for diverse client portfolios.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure billing accuracy across different industries.
- Verify approvals and coding for payment processing according to each client's specifications.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and inquiries tailored to specific client needs.
- Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations for various client accounts.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and records in compliance with individual company policies and procedures.
You will be an experienced finance professional who enjoys the accounts payable function, and can commence at short notice. You will be experienced across multiple accounting software packages, and a fast learner who can pick up new information quickly when required.
You will also bring:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or related finance role preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, adaptable to varying client requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to navigate diverse organisational cultures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
