About the Opportunity:

We are recruiting an Accounts Manager for a well-established construction organisation based in Brisbane’s CBD. This is a permanent leadership role suited to a finance professional with experience overseeing accounts divisions within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts division (AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger)
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, cash flow, and compliance
• Develop and mentor team members while promoting a high-performance culture
• Partner with project and senior leadership teams to provide financial insights and support
• Drive process improvements and ensure the integrity of accounting systems and controls

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing a finance team within the construction industry
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction accounting practices, project cost control, and compliance
• Experience with Jobpac (or similar construction-specific systems) is highly desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively across project and executive teams in a dynamic environment
