PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Motor Commercial team is critical to the management of key commercial relationships within the Motor Claims space. Ensuring these partnerships are handled effectively, and in alignment with the company's strategic direction and risk appetite, is paramount. To support this, we are searching for a dedicated Strategic Partner Account Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial – Motor, this role is responsible for the effective administration and management of Businesses Commercial Motor external contracts and partnerships. As the primary contact for assigned partnerships, you will collaborate closely with Commercial Managers to contribute to achieving "best in class" contract and partner management. This role bridges the gap between operational teams, the Risk team, and external stakeholders.
Accountabilities.
- Be the go-to contact for external partners working with the various internal teams.
- Oversee Motor Claims partnership contracts, including documentation, performance tracking, and process development.
- Assist in negotiating commercial agreements and contract changes to align with business goals.
- Create and share key documents, such as meeting minutes and outcomes.
- Track contract milestones, reporting on variances and preparing briefing materials.
- Monitor contract performance, addressing issues promptly to maintain standards.
- Handle incident and breach reports for strategic partners.
- Resolve escalated operational issues to protect commercial relationships.
- Identify and manage contract risks, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations and stay informed on policy updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to execute initiatives, measuring business impact.
- Contribute to best-in-class contract and partner management within the commercial team.
To thrive in this role, you should have a business-related degree or at least three years of corporate experience, particularly in contract or project management. You’ll need to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, backed by excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, while experience with contract management systems and PowerBI is a bonus.
